1. What counselling services do At Ease Counselling offer?
At Ease Counselling offers individual counselling for adults and youth. I also see couples for couples counselling. Furthermore, I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and students. Finally, I offer group counselling.
2. What days and times do you see clients?
I have the following days and times available for consultations, counselling sessions, clinical supervision, and group counselling:
- On Monday clients can book consultations online or over the phone from 9am until 11am.
- On Tuesday clients can book online and in-person counselling sessions from 9am until 7pm.
- On Wednesday clients can book online and in-person counselling sessions from 2pm until 6pm.
- On Thursday clients can book online counselling sessions from 9am until 2pm.
- On Friday clients can book online and in-person counselling sessions from 9am until 7pm.
- On Saturday clients can book online and in-person counselling sessions from midday until 4pm.
If you would like to book a consultation or a counselling session, outside of the above hours, please get in touch and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
3. How can I book a counselling session?
Please click on Make an appointment and book a time that suits you. My schedule is available online via Jane. Alternatively, please send an inquiry or call me with days and times that work for you and I will get back to you as soon as I can with my availability.
4. What can I expect during my first counselling session with At Ease Counselling?
During your first session with At Ease Counselling, I will ask questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to counselling. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We may create goals focusing on what you want to achieve in counselling.
I will either email an intake form and consent to services form before our first counselling session or I will print these documents and have them ready for our first session.
5. What counselling modalities do you bring to counselling?
I am trained in several counselling modalities including, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I am also person-centered which means I follow your lead as sessions are guided by you, not me. I take a strengths-based approach which means I focus on your strengths and resilience in sessions. Finally, as a South Asian therapist, I am culturally sensitive and practice from an intersectional lens.

7. How much does a counselling session cost?
- Individual counselling sessions – $150 for 50 minutes
- Couples counselling sessions – $170 for 50 minutes and $270 for 80 minutes
- Clinical supervision sessions – $150 for 50 minutes

Payments can also be made with a credit card.

10. Can you provide more information on group counselling?
Yes, I can provide more information and details on group counselling. Group counselling sessions will be held weekly and both the time and location will be shared ahead of time. For groups that run online, a link for each session will be emailed ahead of time. Clients will also be emailed an intake form and consent to services form. Please contact me if you want to learn more about each of the groups I facilitate.
