What is FNHA Counselling?
The FNHA funds mental health and wellness services for Indigenous individuals and families in British Columbia. This includes Status First Nations people, as well as individuals recognized under the program who live either on or off reserve.
FNHA counselling services are designed to support emotional well-being, promote cultural safety, and address the intergenerational impacts of trauma. Eligible clients receive up to 22 counselling sessions per year, with more available upon request depending on need and circumstances.
A doctor’s referral is not required. You can contact a counsellor like me and book a session directly.
